I've been riding a lot lately. Who else likes to pedal in the backcountry?

We rode the Whole Enchilada in Moab last weekend (well, not the WHOLE enchildad, just from hazard county), and it was an absolute blast. I'll be riding this at least weekly.

I hope to get a fatbike for this winter so I have an alternative to snowshoeing.

Just occasionally....haven;t got out this year, though. The Whole Echilada is one I'd like to ride at some point, though.

My favorite sections were UPS and LPS. SUPER fun, flowy, twisty, technical stuff. This trail has it all.

I'm planning on gooseberry, zen, sedona, and ahab before the end of the year.

I'm no marathon rider. I've been doing more 2 hour after work rides. I've got a headlight and I love going at night.

Awesome. I'll let you know when I have some dates set.

If you're going to do a weekend trip that'll work. You guys can ride while I shoot! He's done Gooseberry and loved it. He's never done Sedona so I'm sure it wouldn't take much arm twisting to get him to try that one either.

I ride Mt. Tamalpais (Bay Area) each weekend - Eldridge trail from bottom to top, coming down Old Railroad Grade. Recently tipped off to a local shop that will weld hitch for bike rack onto Miata. Once installed, chit is gonna get real.

Check out Downieville Downhill - http://www.singletracks.com/bike-trails/downieville-downhill.html

I grew up in the bay area and always wanted to ride Downieville. I need to head out there sometime.

@steve when do.. give me a heads up. I'll meet you (if want a riding buddy).

I love riding with other people, that would be great. We want to do a west coast bike trip next year. Possibly starting in Washington and heading down to the bay area.

chatted with a ferry rider last week who completed in August; took him 16 days. he noted plenty of ride space along Highway 1 in Oregon and drivers were cool with riders.

I should have clarified. I want to drive from washington to the bay area, stopping along the way at the best MTB trails.

Stan just called me and asked if you had any plans yet. I think he really wants to go mountain biking…….:D

haha, that's great. I haven't picked any dates yet, but now I have some motivation to do so.
