Well this won't be the best fall foliage picture this year but it is the first (in this thread) Bring 'em on.

The high country along the Mirror Lake HWY is ablaze and Christmas Meadows is exquisite this weekend. It doesn't appear to be even at peak yet. Sunday September 20th. This picture from up high in Amethyst Basin, High Uintas.

Ahh my second favorite thread behind the dogs of BCP! Also the only 3 weeks of the year where the northeast can actually sort of hang with the west. We're still green out here though, will report back in a few more weeks.

Actually I do have a little bit already.. A smidge of fall color from GTNP last week. Thanks to @Joey for constantly pulling over so I could be a wide-eyed tourist.

Loved the places and photos so far. This year in UT it has seemed to be only aspens, the rest of the colors around here have seemed dead... but aspens are a favorite.

Mannnn. Those bright red leaves. I love living in Utah, but I miss the variety of Fall colors I'd see when I lived back East. Nice pictures!
